Research Evaluation
One of the first things I did during my time at the internship was that I conducted Heuristic Evaluation on the Copyright Public Records System website that belongs to the Library of Congress. I measured the usability of the user interfaces in an independent walkthrough to see if it fits the principles of interaction design, and what may need to be changed
Design Systems
One of the main things I worked on was the Library of Congress's Copyright design systems. I helped with the organization of the design systems to help improve design documentation to help guide developers, product owners and other team members on how design components should be leveraged across multiple platforms.
Research and Development
To see how user research influences design and the overall development of the product, I worked collaboratively with the creation of an interview guide and prototype for future user research to help engage more with users of the product and their experiences with the system and how they interact with it.
